The holidays are here! Come out to celebrate in style with GET, and bring your spirit of giving in December. GET will be hosting its Holiday Extravaganza on the night of December 14th, from 5:30-9:30 at Half Moon Sports Grill in the Biltmore (location subject to change). Come out and enjoy free food and drinks with other young professionals. As it was noted at our October event, GET had decided to benefit St. Joseph the Worker through a clothing drive. To save $5 on registration, go clean out your closet of those old business shirts, slacks, skirts, shoes and belts, and donate them to someone less fortunate so that they can put their best foot forward and retain full time employment. We will have staff from the organization on hand to collect all of your items, and distribute tax receipts for everyone that donated. Register today, and start cleaning out that closet to help someone out!

Thank you to our sponsor for this event, SW Gas!

When: Wednesday, December 14th
Time: 5:30 – 9:30 PM
Where: Half Moon Sports Grill
2121 E. Highland Ave. Phoenix
Cost: $25 | $20 if you bring a donation

**Registration link to come.

Since that time, GVSW has acquired and developed more than $300,000,000 in shopping centers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah and Ohio, including Parke West (Peoria, AZ), Wall-Mart (Sierra Vista, Arizona), Highland Village (Roseville, California), The Shoppes at Chandler Heights (Chandler, Arizona), The Boulevard at Surprise Pointe (Surprise, Arizona) and Porter Crossing (Maricopa, Arizona).

In 2004, Nick formed NR Glimcher, LLC which engages in sales/leaseback opportunities and acquisition of troubled properties. Notable transactions include 17 unit Medquest MRI portfolio, Renaissance Health Care, a 5 unit hospital Chain, Jasper Commons, 904 Scottsdale and Gilbert Hospital.

Nick’s family has been in the commercial development business for three generations, starting in the early 1950′s when his grandfather, Herbert Glimcher, began developing Burger Chef’s (predecessor to Burger King) and McDonald’s restaurants. Between 1975 and 1982, Herbert and David Glimcher built approximately 100 Kmarts from South Dakota to Puerto Rico. In 1979 the family began developing regional shopping malls and from 1979 to 1993 they set the pace for industry growth by building one mall per year.

In 2009, Nick and partner Sabin Burrell formed BlueSquare Resolutions to provide savings, payments services and consulting to merchants. BlueSquare is widely considered one of the fastest growing payments acquirers in the United States and is currently active in the United States, Canada, and the LAC region.
